CANNA Aqua Vega Selected as Control Nutrient to Support Study on Optimal Nutrient Absorption in Vegetables.
We are pleased to share that CANNA is participating in a research project led by the local University and government agencies in Hong Kong. The goal of this study is to determine the most effective vegetable cultivation formula for optimal nutrient absorption in the human body.
As part of this research, our product CANNA Aqua Vega has been selected as the control nutrient solution in hydroponic trials. It is being compared alongside other formulas, with lettuce and bok choy chosen as the primary crops under study.
CANNA Aqua Vega Praised for Outstanding Stability
Leo, a member of the research team, commented:
“CANNA Aqua Vega demonstrates highly stable pH and EC levels, which are crucial for scientific experiments requiring strict precision. Compared to powder-based nutrients, CANNA’s liquid formula is much easier to use, avoids clumping, and dissolves evenly, significantly improving research efficiency.”
This recognition not only reinforces CANNA’s reputation for reliability in professional cultivation, but also highlights our growing role in scientific and academic applications.
From Cultivation to Testing: A Scientific Process
After the hydroponic growing phase, the harvested vegetables will undergo a drying process for at least three days to remove moisture. The dried samples will then be ground into powder for further biological testing and nutrient absorption analysis.
We eagerly anticipate the official results of this research, which we believe will contribute to the advancement of healthier and more efficient urban agriculture practices.
